Hard coatings of metal ceramics - tungsten carbides - guarantee a high duration of operation of drilling equipment parts in harsh conditions of elevated temperatures and hydro-abrasive wear.
The use of discs and rings of a turbo-drill with wear-resistant cermet coatings sprayed with a high-speed method can significantly increase the duration of uninterrupted drilling.
Tests conducted under drilling conditions show that using discs and turbo-drill rings with wear-resistant carbide coatings allows drilling 1.5–2 times faster and 2-3 times longer than with standard rings. JSC "Plakart" supplies disks and rings with coatings made by the patented technology.
