Protection against erosive and corrosion wear of installation of amine purification of natural gas against H2S. The share of hydrogen sulfide in the produced gas is 26-28%.
In conditions of production thinning of walls of feedwells of an internal surface of cases of columns of absorbers of amine cleaning below rated thickness owing to corrosion and erosive wear and ulcer corrosion was revealed. The depth of ulcers reached 0.5-8 mm per year, their diameter - 4-32mm, and the density of 1-35 ulcers / dm2. Diameter of the feedwell of the case of columns of 4000 mm, wall thickness from steel A48FPSS – 105/72mm.

The use of bimetallic performance was not allowed due to the high risk of corrosion cracking under the stress of welds. As a result of high-speed flame spraying of a composite coating of stainless steels, the corrosion process was stopped, the wear of the coating was about ten microns per year. By stopping the corrosion process, it was possible not only to reduce the cost of repairs, but also to extend the period for the authorized use of devices.
